Privacy policy

Account data you give us (email address and, where you buy a report, billing details handled by our payment processor). Probe inputs, meaning the URLs you submit and the reports generated from them. Technical data such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, collected when you use the service.

We do not collect special-category data and ask you not to submit it. Report content is generated from publicly accessible web pages and licensed search data.

To provide the service and deliver reports you request — performance of a contract. To secure the service, prevent abuse and rate-limit free teardowns — legitimate interests. To meet accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation. To send product email where you have opted in — consent, withdrawable at any time.

We use third-party processors for hosting, database and authentication, payment processing, email delivery, and licensed search-data supply. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. Where a processor operates outside the EEA, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Account data is kept while your account exists and for a further period required by law. Reports are kept so you can return to them; you can delete a report at any time and we remove it within 30 days, backups included. Technical logs are kept for a short operational period and then discarded.

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to hello@searchdiligence.com and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your national supervisory authority.

We set only the cookies required to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We do not run advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
